Hello Milan
Hello Milan
Hello Milan
Our new son Milan Martine, May 9 2006 Here are a few other pictures from Milans birth day. He spent most of the day relaxing with Mommy. These are some early pictures while the baby was just getting to know us from the outside. Mami was so excited she forgot all about the previous fifty hours. I was still wearing the silly party hat. Now that we've gotten home Milan home he's getting used to the old east 4th street apartment. Overall he seems a pretty quiet fellow though he may just be snuggling up to get in good with mom for mother's day. Speaking of which my mom had a chance to see Milan already, and she's coming back for more on sunday. *** Time just goes on... Milan has put on 400grams during each of the last two weeks. Currently weighin in at 9lbs 2oz if he keeps growing at that rate he'll weigh like 50000 lbs at age ten. I'm not sure if thats what he thinking about but he cerainly spends a lot of time pondering the big questions. Of course the kid would be growing so much of he wasn't so focused on his eating. He stares intently and raises his built in Do Not Disturb Sign when hes eating. After about a week of sitting at home and exploring, his Grosspapi Dann suggested that it was time for us to take a walk over to the park. Grossmami Dann gave Milan a approving look over and agreed. Of course the park was only the beginning and the Milan has since been to see an experimental theater piece and several lovely restaurants. Of course many of the restaurants are zuuu loud for the Dann's but since superfine we've been picking better. His grandparents brought along a lovely high hammock perch which makes him seem more like the Milan (Red and Black Kite) birds migrating through Switzerland this spring. This weekend the whole family (actually Aunty Mel is still in Fla., but anyway) got to spend some time together in Connecticut where Molly showed she is a natural at being a big sister. And even took the time to give Milan some preliminary crawling classes. It was beatiful to see all these wonderful people who i'm so closely related to together. *** So fast I tell you Milan is now a few days over six weeks old, pretty happy and ganz lustig.
