I felt like I woke up to a whole new world today. Everything seemed suddenly lighter. Hope makes a big difference I guess. I feel like I have been on the defensive on so many fronts during the W. administration. Knowing that at the drop of a dime the Executive branch may just jettison some inalienable rights in the name of safety, security, or expediency. I realized this morning that George Bush has been president since Molly was 14 months old. I am so happy Kahlo and Milan will have a different experience. And I hope that they all grow to see the beauty in being Americans, citizens of the world, listeners, doers, believers, artists, and being the change.
