For the past couple of months I have been working on a travelogue of a trip to Cuba that I took at the end of the year 2000. I don't know yet exactly how this trip affected me, but I know that something has changed and so I will use this space to delve back into my impressions of the island. One of the goals of this piece is to start drawing away the political curtains that are separating us from an amazing country 80 miles off the coast of Florida. From here on out this project will be pretty intensive. There is a lot of everything in here and you or your computer may feel a bit overwhelmed. Each of the pages in the project has a lot of material embedded in it, in order for everything to work properly you may need to allow a little extra time for the content to arrive. Please be patient, I want you to loose yourself, and find Cuba. This piece is for travellers so explore everything, interact where you feel, and a stay calm. If you get frustrated, leave and come back later or tell me about it. This is a labor of love. A project that wakes me up in the night asking to be finished. Most of the material is already here, I will be doing some continued fine tuning and additional posting as I find the time. Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy yourself. |
