December almost slipped by as well. I have had every intention of changing stuff up here all along, but it just hasn't come to fruition yet. Right now I am in an airport in Zurich, CH after having slept for two hours two days ago and I have no idea what kind of time warp I was in on the plane. You'll have to forgive the typing but the keys are in the wrong place on this keyboard.
So the bad news is that I lost my camera. Somehow during a blizzard on December 6th while carrying a Barbie bicycle on Metro North at 7:07 after having slept 1 and a half hours that night, I left my messenger bag with all of my most useful equiptment on th train. Bye bye camera. Bye bye archos multimedia jukebox. Bye bye 8 lbs of stuff of random stuff thats no use to anyone but me.
I know I know thats what I get for carrying everything around with me every where that I go. But at the same time if Im not carrying my camera, Im not taking pictures of the world that Im seeing and im not engaging in things the way that i would like to.
[I'm photographing with film again this vacation. Seems to happen to me when I come to Germany. So expect random absolutely unrelated images of mine to accompany the next few postings]
The good news is that I have a new job waiting for me when I get back to the states. It's pretty much doing what I do, designing and programming interfaces for web applications. It has kind of a strategy component as well as interacting with overseas contractors. All kinds of stuff, pretty exciting.
Anyway I have to go catch the plane, and do some Christmas eve (Weinachten) celebrating in Nuremburg with my German family tonight. More on everything later. Happy Holidays all.
